Mobilität, die alle bewegt: Video gibt Einblicke in das Mobilitätskonzept der Lincoln-Siedlung in Darmstadt
Weniger Autos, dafür mehr Lebens- und Aufenthaltsqualität im Quartier und trotzdem mobil sein – Darauf zielt das Mobilitätskonzept der Lincoln-Siedlung ab, denn die meisten städtischen Straßennetze geraten heute schon an die Belastungsgrenze. Stau, Lärm und Emissionen sind die Folge. Um eine zukunftsfähige Stadt für Morgen bauen zu können, ist es schon heute wichtig bei der Planung den Fokus nicht auf das Auto, sondern auf alternative Mobilitätformen zu legen. Mit der Lincoln-Siedlung zeigt die Wissenschaftsstadt Darmstadt beispielhaft, wie durch das Zusammenspiel verschiedener Bausteine eine nachhaltige Mobilität der Bewohner*innen vor Ort gefördert werden kann.
Ein Video gibt nun konkrete Einblicke in das Mobilitätskonzept der Siedlung. Neben Planer*innen und politischen Entscheidungsträger*innen kommen auch Bewohnende zu Wort, die ihre alltäglichen Mobilitätserfahrungen schildern.
Das Video ist innerhalb des Forschungsprojekts „Nachhaltige Mobilität in Lincoln 2“ (NaMoLi 2) entstanden, das vom Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung (BMBF) im Rahmen der Fördermaßnahme „MobilitätsWerkStadt 2025“ gefördert und von der ILS Research, der Wissenschaftsstadt Darmstadt und dem Frankfurt Lab for Social-Ecological Transformation of Urban Mobility (SET-Mobility) der Goethe-Universität Frankfurt a. M. bearbeitet wurde.

Special Issue: Exploring conformorality in planning debates
Stefano Cozzolino from the research group “Spatial Planning and Urban Design”, together with Anita De Franco from the Polytechnic University of Milan, was responsible for a special issue in the journal “Transactions”. The special issue is a follow up product from the annual conference of the AESOP Thematic Group “Ethics, Values and Planning”, which took place at the ILS last September under the title “Breaking through conformorality in urban and regional studies”. In terms of content, it deals with the intriguing concept of “conformorality” that describes the tendency of individuals within a particular group or community to align with specific ideologies and values. Die diesjährige Winterausgabe des Städtebaulichen Kolloquiums zieht Lehren zum räumlichen Umgang unserer europäischen Nachbarn beim Thema Zirkuläres Wirtschaften. Die zweite Veranstaltung des dreiteiligen Kolloquiums beschäftigt sich mit dem Thema „KLIMASCHUTZ – vom Mehrwert der Zirkularität“ und findet am 10.
