The North Rhine-Westphalian state government adopted the Public Corporate Governance Codex (PCK NRW) on 19 March 2013. The Codex is considered a benchmark for good and responsible corporate management and control. The Research Institute for Regional and Urban Development Research gGmbH incorporated the PCGK of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia into its articles of association on 29 November 2013.
